Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you have a pet(s) in your home?

Yes, we do! A neutered, 4 year old male pet.

2. Do you accept pets that are unspayed/unneutered?

No, we do not accept pets that are unspayed/unneutered.

While we love all pets, unspayed/unneutered pets more often than not tend to clash with spayed/neutered pets primarily due to the intense difference in scent.

Unspayed/unneutered pets also tend to engage more in acts of dominance than spayed/neutered pets. Such as urine marking “their” territory, attempts to physically dominate other pets, resource guarding items or people that belong to other pets, humping, etc. These actions can cause undue stress to all pets involved.

This doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with your pet! It’s just the science of who they are!

3. Do you accept puppies or senior pets?

We sure do! As long as they are spayed/neutered, all pets are welcome!

4. What information do I need to provide in order for my pet to stay with you?

A copy of their most recent/ up-to-date vaccination records, a short description of your pet’s behavior with other pets, and any allergies or skin sensitivities. This goes towards the safety and comfort of all pets involved.

5. Can you administer my pet’s medications?

We administer: Oral, Topical, Ophthalmic and Otic (Eyes and Ears) medications. Currently, we do not administer injectable medications.

If there is another type of medication needed for your pet, feel free to contact us so we can discuss how we can help!

6. What kind of training do you offer? (For dogs only)

• Basic command training, basic outdoor training, and reinforcement training.

With Command and Outdoor training, it is to try to ensure that your dogs(s) are responding accordingly and behaving safely with both humans and other domestic animals.

Reinforcement training is to actively follow up with whichever commands you have already trained. This is most common with dogs in their “teen” years. At that age, they are far more comfortable with the world and their place in it. Which also means a sense of stubbornness and strong independence follows with it.

Again, there’s nothing wrong with your pet! It’s just the science of who they are!

7. Is grooming available? (For dogs only)

• Brushing, dry shampooing, and nail trimming is available at an additional cost. Full baths are limited to dogs under 40lbs at an additional cost.

Currently, we are not equipped to bathe dogs over 40lbs.

8. What happens if my pet damages something during their stay?

A fee of $25 will be added to the bill of stay. We understand accidents happen but as this is a small business, the $25 will go directly into the cost of replacing what was damaged.

9. I’m feeling unsure about leaving my pet with someone new. What should I do?

It is more than understandable! As pet owners, we want to make sure our pets are safe and properly taken care of. We suggest a pet meet-up and/or a video chat to help alleviate some of the stress of leaving your pet with us. Also, we are available on Rover.com! This can add an extra sense of security with the safety resources they provide.

Please bear in mind that bookings through Rover must be paid through Rover. Attempting to use an alternate payment form (cash, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo) on a Rover booking is not allowed and can lead to account suspension and/or removal for both the sitter and client.
